The Dark Age of Hell
When the Great Flood brought the First Sinners to Hell, Lucifer got the idea of Hell being a purgatory for these poor Souls. Surely his newly formed realm was meant for these Souls to learn their lessons, cleanse themselves and earn the right to reincarnate to try again for Heaven, yes? So, newly crowned as King of Hell, Lucifer jumped at the chance to be a good ruler, doing everything in his power to try and help the Sinners, and for a while, it almost looked like they could succeed.
Almost.
Despite the progress made, Lucifer began to slowly realize that none of these Sinners were reincarnating. In fact, the more Sinners that arrived, the more wicked they were becoming, even being a bad influence on the ones already there. He tried contacting the Heavenly Council, to ask for help, but he was rebuffed and ignored. The Sins were busy running their own Rings, so Lucifer sought the help of Paimon, the King of the Ars Goetia, to try and find a way to help the SInners. Except what Paimon discovered was that the humans were blaming Lucifer for Hell to begin with.
In fact, the Sinners were blaming Lucifer for ending up in Hell entirely.
All of those years, all of the blood, sweat and tears, all of the hard work that Lucifer put into trying to save these damned creatures, trying to hold onto the hope that his rebellion to love Lilith and grant the humans free will would be worth it, it all came crashing down on Lucifer, who snapped, and turned into his third form, a monstrous bird with flaming wings and he lay waste to the Sinners in retribution.
The Punishment Ring was created in that moment. Lucifer assigned special demons to torture the Sinners for their crimes. Those who avoided the Punishment Ring were now walking on eggshells around their King, terrified of being torn apart or outright devoured for the crime of simply existing. The sweet dreamer that Lilith had known was consumed by a creature of bitterness and hatred; to Lucifer, if the humans wanted the Devil, they were going to get the Devil.
The Dark Age of Hell lasted four thousand years. Lucifer was a cruel and heartless ruler, showing affection only for the Sins, the Goetia and Lilith. He gave more respect to the Hellborn than he did the Sinners, to the point where a Soul could breathe wrong in his proximity and suddenly they would brutally murdered. He relished in the terror that he caused, but over time, his depression began to take root in his mind, and slowly, the bloodshed began to dissipate.
There's not a Sinner alive now who remembers the Dark Age, but the Hellborn remember; the Sins and the Goetia remember. Lucifer still holds some of that darkness within him, ready and willing to use it if he has absolutely no choice. But his bitterness towards the Sinners needs to be worked on; while many of them he hates, he knows Charlie is right. Some of them can be redeemed, and they need the chance and support to do so.

V:Fire in her veins
Verse with @amarvelousmencgerie and her Daemon
Birth: roughly 93 AC
Name: Princess Alaena Targaryen.
Dragon: Vermithor, claimed at the age of ten when her great grandsire passed.
Family: Born the eldest child of Viserys I Targaryen and Aemma Arryn, Older sister to Rhaenyra and Kyra. Half-sister to
Appearance: Like her grandmother Alyssa Targaryen She has darker blonde hair than the rest of her family, a pale honey-blonde with bright violet eyes. She stands at 5'6 at her tallest with a curvy muscle build weighing more than she looks at around 140.
Bio: short info
Even as a young child Alaena had as much fight in her as the famed dragonlords of old valyria. Strong, quick, and spirited. Alaena was already too "wild" for the court's liking, often slipping away from her nursemaids and tutors to go off on adventures with the servant's children-treating them as she would the children of other highborns. Fiercely stubborn many struggled with the handful of a princess, earning a bite or kick whenever anyone tried to force her to do something she didn't want to do. Of course it wasn't until she started to try and sneak into the dragon pit that her parents truly worried.
Some thought she to be as beautiful as Viserra Targaryen though though she was fair from vein, favoring her riding leather's over the gowns the count demanded she wear. It wasn't until she was a teen that she came to own her beauty.
Fair from the son her father longed for Alaena struggled to connect with him, being closer to Daemon. Feeling wanted for the first time in her young life she looked her happiest when he was near. It wasn't until she was 16 that her feelings started to stir. At a battle to understand this burning desire growing within her Alaena colored her hair like a raven and snuck away to a pleasure house.
Favoring a beautiful redhead over the men yet her time with her was cut short before she was yanked out of the bed. The rouge prince standing before her.
It cannot be said who kissed who-if it had been Alaena's doing or his. But the desire growing inside her blazed to life at the sight of him taking her in. He took her away from the pleasure house but they didn't return to the castle as they were quickly lost to one another's embrace. It was hard to stay from him after then. He was her's and she was his as far as Alaena cared. Yet it wasn't long before they were discovered-and by her father no less. Right before her eyes they were ripped apart, sent to other ends of the Vale and married to the first people the king could find. But not before she was forced Moontea. And having been two month's since she bled, Alaena heart had been shuttered completely.
Not wanting to have her new husbands baby's when she was still mourning the lost of her first Alaena made herb-infused oils to use on him in bed that kept him from having children.

headcanon. post-series & the capitol
personals and non-mutuals, please dni
effie does not return to the capitol after the war, or at least not forever. she knows that her life there will have to change significantly, and opts to not return to her normal society life, but do what she's good at-- plan, and boss people around.
commerce was formerly all dealt with through the capitol ( ex. lumber can't be shipped directly to district 12, it has to go through the capitol as the middle man ), so effie works on inter-district trade, specifically to get supplies and materials to the former district 12 so that they can start rebuilding. not everyone is thrilled with having a capitol citizen taking control of the rebuilding process, but if she can get katniss and haymitch to tolerate her, effie is sure she can get anyone to.
she's not the only capitol person to do this, but she is the first. effie's parents get involved in working on things from the capitol after traveling out to see the rebuilding work on district 12. seeing their daughter so dedicated to a cause-- dedicated enough that she fled the capitol, and then continued to help after the war-- inspires them, and the trinket family donates a large amount of money to help with the rebuild of district 12. supplies are bought, and workers are paid through the generosity of a country healing from war.
effie doesn't return to the capitol permanently when the rebuild is done. she opts to remain in district 12 and traveling amongst the districts, organizing trade and commerce between the districts and supporting district 12's mayor.
she doesn't completely lose her old self, though. while effie doesn't wear her extravagant wardrobe and wigs anymore, she is always seen with her signature high heels, and resumes wearing colorful clothes and makeup after the rebuild is done. Her clothes will always prioritize fashion over practicality, and she's fine with that.
#( muse || effie trinket )#time to swear so this doesn't end up in the tags. fuck fuck fuck shit fuck shit fuck shit#verse info#she's smart fuckin fight me

A ZeldaTale Overview
So for a while now I have had a ZeldaTale crossover I just having put it into qords. This post is me making it public so I can write it with people. I am going to try and be cohesive and in order, but I highly reccomend asking any sort of clarification questions you have: Infact I yearn for you to do so.
As we all know, In the beginning the Goddesses made the land of Hyrule. Nayru Made the Law, Din made the Land, Farore made Life. This is a tale as old as Ocarina of time. Something else that seems pretty clear is, aside from Humanity, whom seems pretty much like Hylia's personal prefferred creation, each Golden Goddess has a race more directly attuned to them then any others.
The Grace and Order of the Zora, aligned with Nayru's thoughtful nature
The Strong and Honest Gorons, beating to their own drum with Din
The playful and adventurous Kokiri, Living fearlessly in a magic forest for Farore...
But what if that wasn't all?
The land existed before the war against demise. The world existed: Most importantly, people existed. The Races were much more intermingled, at first, differences not meaning much. But as time goes by, birds of a feather tend to flock together, and the tribes began to do their own thing. It is easy to gather with those who look more like yourself and have your similar needs; and it is easy to judge those who do not fit in the boxes society forms.
The goddesses tried not to interfere directly with their creation: They had already left a blessed power behind, but it was controlling to dictate what the people of the land should do. Farore was held back as she watched her first personal project be banished by those who could not abide different in her sisters creation.
Farore had made monsters, with the courage to be varied, and bravery to be kind. Hylia's Humans banded together exclusively, Nayru's Zora, though they were not known as such yet, were exclusive by nature of their aquatic lifestyle, and Din's unchanging Gorons, all ended up in conspiracy over this group that all looked so vastly different yet chose the same label. The Gorons found a place that did not suit them as well as the Volcano they now live, and spoke of it's caves to the humans. Perhaps they did not know what those caves would be used for then. The parella turned their backs when approached for sanctuary.
Humans lead the charge, fighting the Monsters they'd stopped trusting. It was the first war, and it was a short war, as Monsters where brave enough to be kind. Plenty escaped and found places to hide, some monsters of similar nature managing to clump together and later take on a new label as their offspring became more and more homogeneous. Some monster simply stuck to themselves and laid low, with small contact with others if any at all.
So many were trapped in that mountain the Gorons had found unfit, trapped by a Magic Barrier that kept them all in, protected by a shield they would never have asked for.
This war did not have time to become history, as the discord of it all was enough to draw Demise's desires out in the open. So many of the monsters who had not been sealed away were tricked under his wing, corrupted by choice or corrupted by force. they became what had been feared, and the strike back was fierce. Farore had watched the first war, held back by her sisters, and only able to add to the barrier to make sure her people were safe under that mountain.
Imagine her shock and outrage when a new war broke out, and Hylia herself stepped into action, making direct bonds with her creation, and subdueing the threat to them? How her sisters were silent when Farore spoke out against involvement, since this war was so clearly about the divine triangles, and not some 'trivial mortal matter'? The way the sacrifice of divinity to stop Demise was honored rather then condemned, all while Farore's people were the ones wiped out even further, or corrupted beyond recognition, or worst of all, copied as mindless minions without a soul to bolster the numbers.
A tiny sliver thanked the barrier, as at least some of her own were unchanged by this divine war. though trapped, at least they'd not been corrupted.
When all settled, Hylia's humans placed in the sky, and things settling... Farore's creations were the only one missing. there was some disguised resentment, and in pity for their sister, Nayru and Din decided she got a second chance to create. Not only would it help fill that gap the lack of 'normal' monsters left, but it would bring some light to a world crawling out of darkness.
So, with more thought then before, more uniformity, the kikwis were made. something of the forest, smart enough to not be so easily squished off, but lacking the courage of self that her original creations had been.
of course, the world was still changing. Things were flux. Nayru's Parella became the Zora, split evolution based on teh type of water they lived in. Din's Gorons didn't change much, but they became even more sturdy, until the majority where at an active volcano for living. Farore's Kikwis became more courageous with time, but still had a tendency to blend in. as humans repopulated the surface, they started mimicking people's form for security rather then their surroundings.
as society started growing, each of the golden goddesses gave their race a small boon. So that they'd not starve in their new landscape, Din gave Gorons the diet of the rocks they lived amongst, as she activated the volcano to help defend them beyond their strength. Nayru gave the Zora a guardian they tended to, a descendant of the leviathan of the sky designed for the water. Farore, having learned form before, gave her now-Kokiri a home and guardian where they could live eternally and freely.
Meanwhile, all that was left of Farore's original creation were hollow shells of senseless violence, unaware of the chaos that occurred on the land above. Aside from the barrier around the mountain to keep monsters in, there was a tribe, an offshoot of the sheikah that settled around the mountain as further guard. they remained even as the forest got thicker and more confusing with time, until they were basically as secluded by the lost woods as the monsters were by the barrier.
They still hold record and warning of the monster who killed a child in it's escape, though that's become more legend then history anymore. Some think the MOuntain is simply teh same as the woods- you enter, and you don't return, monsters or not.
Then one day... a child thought lost to the mountain returned, with news of how their legends were wrong, and a blessing non realized sepperate from the time wrapped around their soul.
Being trapped by a forest did not suit the Monsters any more then being trapped by a mountain, however. Thankfully, the Woods do have a means through, you simply need know the trick... or have a flower find it out for you. All that's left now is convincing people that the 'monsters' from beyond the wood aren't vicious violent beasts like Hyrule is used to. Perhaps a rebranding may be in order...
Good thing Frisk has a Goddess watching them and permitting the anomaly of time that had filled the barrier to persist even amongst the larger world, to a degree. The Kid so far had been responsible enough that the other goddesses hadn't raised concerns, at least...

I need to put these into the carrd but .... some of my kids and vague concepts for bg3 verses:
Gilderoy. high half-elf. bard — college of lore. sage background. This verse would be so tightly knit to his 'main' bard verse where he's not very proficient with the control of his actual magic, but by merlin is he the best at vicious mockery. Not a tav character, more a volo.
James. human. paladin — oath of devotion oathbreaker. noble background. tav character who breaks his oath just before the start of the main storyline after chasing a pirate through a hurricane and in doing so needlessly ending the lives of those under his command.
Adelé. drow half-elf. rogue — thief. charlatan background. Very reluctant tav character who would very much prefer it if anyone else took lead ( but when they do she gets upset that things aren't being done her way. )
Victoria. mephistopheles tiefling. druid — circle of the moon. outlander background. Not a tav character, and a druid with dangerously low wisdom stats. A friendly companion who would spend half the journey in the shape of a cat if she could.

Verse Info — The Phoenix Queen — Family Update
”He is the only threat to my throne, if only he had a head on his shoulders.”
CW: Illegitimacy, Infidelity, Medieval Typical Misogyny,
Meet Prince Lord Alastair of Lunaruz aka Alastair Fitzregina, bastard son of Queen Macha and Lord Heron — twin brother to Princess Aislin. He is ten years Relta’s junior, also being Aislin’s younger twin.
He has no aspirations for the throne, understanding he is illegitimate and would do better to acquire a diplomatic position in his elder half-sister’s court once she ascends to the throne.
Despite him not being a true threat to her rule, Relta is suspicious of Alastair once he comes of age as he is much like her father — warmongering, bloodthirsty, and lustful.
She, however, helped raise him like she helped raise Aislin and Madeline. Relta more fears what ideas Lord Heron has put into his mind regarding potentially ruling after King Ares abdicates his throne.
Alastair idolizes his elder sister and is incredibly protective of his twin sister, as she embodies all good things to him. He resembles his two sisters, sharing their fiery red hair and dedication to doing right by their people.
When Aislin was sent to France to marry the crown prince there, ( @ofheroesandscholars’ Ben), Alastair escorted her. Getting sick on the way back, Alastair nearly died on the ship back to Lunaruz. He arrived in Lunaruz and was quarantined, given the best of aid by Relta’s instruction, and recovered swiftly.
Upon Relta’s ascension to the throne, she made all three of her half-siblings legitimate heirs, including their children being her heirs if she failed to have a child herself. Alastair was shocked by this, but it solidified his loyalties to his sister over his exiled parents.
Alastair now serves as a spy and diplomat for his sister, like she did prior to her ascension to the throne. He also protected his twin whenever in France’s courts. When Lord Heron tried returning to the Lunaruzian courts, Alastair preventing his arrival in order to protect Queen Relta as well, cutting all ties with his father.

v; we’ve long believed that the hero would appear as a divine beast (zelda au)
It is an age of upheaval. Rival clans have begun to form within Hyrule, splitting the once united kingdom into separate territories, each ruled by fierce shogun-like fighters. The strange period had been formed thanks to the strange occurrence...
The Hero of Legend was not born. For the first time in ages, the Princess of Hyrule has little power, their rule puppeted by a demonic Shogun who bares resemblance to the old prophesized King of Evil.
Deep within a territory unclaimed by the ruling clans of Hyrule, a forest brimming with spirits protects a young girl named Robin. A strange mark appears upon her hand one day, followed by the sudden voice of the gods...
"Restore peace and unity to Hyrule... Bless it with your light, as the SUN must do."
In this timeline, Link was never born. Zelda is a princess in the court of Hyrule, with very little power. She remains but a priestess inside the court, searching for visions to try and unite the warring factions of the kingdom together again. All at the same time, strange demons and yokai have begun terrorizing the country.
Robin is the protagonist of this story. Her brother is taken away by demons, which leads to her chasing after him and slaying the demonic forces puppeted by that universe's Ganondorf, who resembles an old samurai warlord.
Fighting as both wolf and swordsman, Robin goes around Hyrule purifying nature and the hearts of those swallowed by the dark hatred the Demon Lord has spread.
This iteration of the story was inspired greatly by shows such as Shōgun (2024), games like Ōkami (2006) and movies like The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (2013) and Princess Mononoke (1997).

Heavensward
During the Heavensward expansion, Artemis spent her time training as a lancer and kept her head low to not catch the Crystal Braves' attention. She investigated several disappearances that nearly severely injured her and intensely scarred her right ear. [Frozen in the Darkest Moment + Be Afraid of the Dark]
Until the unfortunate day she is "killed" in the North Shroud near the end of the Dragonsong War. She comes to Carlisle and his party's aid, to help them fight an ambush by Voidsent, only to be mistaken for a Voidsent herself as she utilizes Eblis. Despite her attempts to explain herself, Carlisle corners and then pushes her off the cliff.
The story they told Mother Miounne and everyone else in the Carline Canopy is that she was killed by the Voidsent she rescued them from.
When he turns away, Selena utilizes her Corridors of Darkness to avoid her grisly end. There, she ends up in Witchdrop where she steals gear and job stone from a dragoon corpse, and is soon ambushed by Heartless. After casting Dark Thundaza for the first time on the ambush and herself, she once again uses a Corridor to Darkness to flee. [A Dangerous Thing and Shadows in Witchdrop]
Selena found herself recovering and wandering in Idyllshire for a time. The keybearer busied herself with the odd errand and escorting a young gobbie, Roundrox, while she hunted for treasure.
The folks there wouldn't know her name. The keybearer essentially became mute and always appeared exhausted with bags underneath her eyes, as if it had been too long since she had a good night's rest. She kept to herself and seemed disconnected.
They wouldn't be aware that she made an exception for a certain gobbie and occasionally spoke with her while they were on their treasure runs.
Eventually, Selena secretly left Idyllshire to make her way to Ishgard to fulfill the promise made to that dragoon corpse. The armor and job stone weren't the only things the keybearer had stolen; she had taken letters that never made it to their recipients and intended to deliver them in their stead.
But, the delivery isn't well received.
Feeling detached and intending to leave the Star, Selena returns to Gridania, to the Bramble Patch, to pick up Lisanna and Squackers and recover her bag buried there only to encounter Carlisle who had all but become consumed by his hate which transformed him into the Leshy Heartless.
Realizing how close they were to the city-state, she tried to use the Corridors of Darkness to teleport them to Witchdrop but they ended up at the Urth's Fount instead. Despite fighting tooth and nail, Selena is beaten severely, her right arm broken, and drowns in her own grief and despair before losing control of Sonnelion. [Fading Just Below]

V: Queen of Ashes — Vilified Phoenix Queen Verse Info [Part II of II]
[Continuing from here]
In the thirtieth year of Relta’s reign, at age 55 but appearing around 30 still, and her living daughter’s twentieth year, Relta’s daughter brought an undead army up against Relta, being a powerful necromancer like her deceased aunt. Relta, unable to cut down the number of soldiers in this undead army, had to surrender to her daughter
Fennel, Relta’s only living daughter, was forced to kill her mother and many of the Lunaruzian soldiers in order to save Lunaruz from falling further into unrest and isolation. She had to severe Relta’s head to ensure her death, and was coronated by the High Priestesx of Persephone on the battlefield
Fennel’s reign ended up restoring Lunaruz to the glory it was meant to see under Queen Relta’s regency and reign.
Fennel also separated Lunaruz from the rest of the world, putting it in a pocket dimension so it could heal undisturbed. Magic was used to get goods needed via trade, magic now flourishing in the kingdom rather than being reserved for royals and elite religious figures.
Fennel found that she was immortal, and remained monarch until Lunaruz was healed so that she could ensure it went properly and in her mother’s vision from her pre-madness days
Fennel steps down from the throne at over one-hundred-and-twenty years old, appearing only in her 60s, and literally destroyed the throne and built the foundations of a democracy as her final act during her rule.
She was also able to revive the siblings, cousins, and aunts that were killed to full life, allowing them to have the lives they wished for.
Queen Fennel had a consort, but no heirs as her sole consort was AFAB and she never planned to continue the monarchy. However, she adopted her youngest sibling that was born when Relta was late in her reign by her latest lover. This sibling ended up becoming a high ranking judge in the Lunaruzian royal court system, and a just judge at that.
Fennel, as queen, also brought back freedom of religion, and ended the royal bloodline’s connection to divinity in order to prevent “old wayers” who wished to restore the monarchy after her retirement due to the divine nature of the monarchy.
Relta’s lovers, including Lord Keife, were all pardoned by Queen Fennel…if still alive.

Vampire verse
Mainly inspired by old lore, Car/milla,2024 film Abigail
In present day, Alena spends most her time working as an art conservator at her gallery. She is most known for her skill in art restoration as she seems to have mastered many of the past methods. Often helping with private collections
Notable details: Crosses do NOT harm her, they were not always a symbol of Chris/tianity and it's a bit of a disregard to other religions. Vampires have heightened senses along with a sense of small but aren't weakened by garlic. The sun is deadly to them but they can heal from wounds caused by it. They don't have a reflection but after living so long many vampires know to be aware of their surroundings and avoid standing in front of them.
In her species, there are True vampires and Vampire spawn-a spawn is someone who survives a bite from a vampire and can be turned into a puppet by an old true vampire or back into a human if their sire is killed. A true vampire is one who is bitten and drinks the blood of a true vampire-Alena is a true vampire.

VERSE INFO - GARTH NIX - MIKHAILS CHILD (HSR)
Blessed by the Harmony, Sabriel Nix was adopted into the Iris Family due to her talent and overwhelming potential, but it's capturing the attention of the Dream Master, that ultimately leads to her downfall from grace. What was supposed to be a classic love story of love at first sight, soon turned into a sour relationship built off nothing but lies, as The Family started to sway away from Harmony and Sabriel looked for a way in which to prevent the disaster slowly taking shape around her. Too young to truly understand what then occurred, the earliest memory Garth has is of his father holding his small body underneath water, of the desperation of trying to break free - then appearing within Dreamflux Reef, where he was soon taken in by Mikhail who helped to raise him, Garth seeing him as a Grandfather type of figure, and taking delight in helping to spread the legends of the WatchMaker in the Sweet Dream and reality once he was old enough to better take care of himself. Overtime, this leads to him becoming close to Misha too, deciding to help him as he sees he helped him. Wither from his relations with his father or simply being around Mikhail as much as he was, Garth finds it rather easy to interact with the memoria of the dream scape, which allows some degree of control over the memory memes and the ability to create his own simple ones. This comes in the form of a small bell, that works similar to clockwork, though he tends only to help those that Misha may point out. Marked by both Harmony and Nilhility, he possess the ability to see those 'trapped between worlds', this usually taking the form of what is commonly referred to as ghosts. He tries to help these spirits to move along where possible.

Since I'm about to do a whole bunch of stuff with it (thanks to @walkitoffrogers ); have some notes on how Bex's version of Persephone works....
Bex is (or was) highly skilled in poisons -- often employing them while on missions with the Commandos. It's not something she ever learned...more an inherent knowledge. Given her connection to the goddess.
My view / portrayal of Persephone is also taken more from Southern Italy and that region. Where she fell heart and soul into her role as Queen of the Underworld, relishing her power and her partnership with her husband. For she has equal power over the land of the dead. In this tradition (as written by Virgil) she does not return to her mother and is said to 'care not to follow [her]'. Cause yeah? No one is separating Bex from Steve. Even temporarily.
Now, technically, Virgil did mean that as a warning because the whole soil only being fertile while she is above still holds so yeah...the crazy weather? Blame these two :)

RED DEAD REDEMPTION VERSE
Patchwork Jack is still a shapeshifter in this verse (although depending on my rp partner's preferences I can make him human)
PJ's parents died during a tornado when he was little. He doesn't remember their names or what they look like. Since their death he's been in and out of orphanages and foster families -- all return him claiming he's a "demonic child." This claim confuses the orphanage bc even though he's a prankster, he's not a mean child by any means. Turns out they mean his appearance is demonic... PJ learns to not shift in front of people pretty quickly after that.
As a teen he befriends some fellow teens who work for the O'Driscolls. Just a month into hanging out with them he joins the O'Driscoll gang himself.
The events on the Adler ranch are horrifying enough to make him leave the gang. Since leaving the gang he works as a handyman and bounty hunter and MOSTLY keeps to himself
He yearns for friends and family -- He tends to loiter near Dutch's gang, yearning for a place to belong.
#rdr2 verse#verse info#can yall tell I love rdr2?? LOL#ty to all the rdr2 blogs that reminded me that I needed to write this verse info
